We collect our shipper’s full name, contact numbers, email addresses, residential addresses, passport details and work permits.
Why we collect this personal data
For international shipments, we collect copies of passports and workpermits to facilitate customs clearance and delivery. For domestic moves, we collect details onnew residential addresses and contact numbers to enable our team to provide service.
Shipper’s choice and consent
Our shipper, at any time, can decide not to disclose their personal information, or to restrict access to their personal information, or to withdraw their consent for us to use their personal information. If shipper asksus to withdraw their consent, we will destroy and delete relevant personal information as soon as possible.
How and when we collect shipper’s personal information
We collect information when our shippers request our services. Our shippers may submit documents with personal data by email, fax and other means.
Use, retention and disposal
We will limit access to our shipper’s personal data only to our properly trained and authorized employees and third parties. Personal information is never to besold, lent or leased to third parties.
Disclosure to third parties
We keep our shipper’s personal information confidential but, from time-to-time, wemay provide personal information to third parties only for the purposes identified in this notice. Such third parties may include governmental authorities, Customs brokers, or persons to whom you are required to make disclosures in order to complete customs clearance of shipment. When wedo disclose any of our shipper’s personal information to third parties, wedo so under a duty of confidentiality.
We store our shipper’s personal data electronically and under password-protection. Weonly permit our authorized employees to access personal data. These employees are trainedand familiar with Meyer Moving’s privacy policies.
Meyer Moving commits to maintain accurate, complete, and relevant personal information for the purposes identified in this notice. If any personal data given to you is not up-to-date or inaccurate, please notify us as soon as possible.
Monitoring and enforcement
We take appropriate actions to monitor and maintain our shipper’s personal data. We implement and maintain any and all reasonable security measures to maintain the safety of our shipper’s personal data. We will never use shipper’s personal data in direct marketing,via email, direct mail, telephone and other similar means of communication.
Anti-bribery & corruption statement
Bribery is the offering, promising, giving, accepting or soliciting of an advantage as an inducement for action with is illegal or a breach of trust. A bribe is an inducement or reward offered, promised or provided in order to gain any commercial, contractual, regulatory or personal advantage.Corrupt activity, bribery or attempted bribery is never acceptable, for legal, moral and ethical reasons, and it does not matter if someone is being bribed or doing the bribing.
Compliance with regulations

Bribery and corruption are punishable for both companies and individuals and if we found to have taken part in bribery and/or corruption related activities the company could face a serious fine, be excluded from tendering for contractsand face damages to its reputation. We therefore take our legal, moral and ethical responsibilities very seriously.
It is our policy to conduct all of our business in an honest and ethical manner. We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships wherever we operate and ready to implement and enforce effective systems to counter bribery.We will uphold all laws relevant to countering bribery and corruption in all the jurisdictions in which we operate.
Code of Conduct
Meyer Moving and it’s employeesare to keep themselves to the following code of conduct against bribery and corruption, and agree and commit to:
- Never engage in any form of bribery, either directly or through any third party
- Never offer or make an improper payment, or authorizean improper payment (cash or otherwise) to any individual, including any local or foreign official anywhere in the world.
- Never attempt to induce an individual, or a local or foreign official to act illegally or improperly.
- Never offer, or accept, money or anything of value, such as gifts, kickbacks or commissions, in connection with the procurement of business or the award of a contract.
- Never offer or give any gift or token of hospitality to any public employee or government official or representative if there is any expectation or implication for a return favor.
- Never accept any gift from any business partner if there is any suggestion that a return favor will be expected or implied.
- Never facilitate payments to obtain a level of service which one would not normally be entitled to.
- Never disregard or fail to report any indication of improper paymentsto the appropriate authorities.
- Never induce or assist another individual to break any applicable law or regulation.
